Historical timeline related to the house at 118 Henry Street

1879 - The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church builds a wood frame church on Center Street.

1897 - The church building is sold to St. Mark's Episcopal congregation sometime after their church on Pickney Street burns down.

1921 - On May 7, Theodora Russell Holst sells a lot on Henry Street divided from a much larger parcel to St. Mark's Episcopal Church for the purpose of building a parsonage.  Reverend Rufus Morgan, then pastor of St. Marks, designs and, has built, a house on the lot.

1923 - The Irish immigrant parents of Lilly Boyd nee Gilpin, members of St. Mark's congregation are married by Rev. Morgan in the parsonage on Henry Street on January 6.

1932 - St. Mark's Episcopal Church acquires additional acreage from J. A. Hefner on the west side of the existing 118 Henry Street lot.

1940 - G. Conrad Nichols is listed as the resident of 118 Henry Street in the city directory.

1942 - The family of Bob Blakely (whose father is the new principal of the high school) rents and moves into 118 Henry Street. Bob is 6 years old.

1945 - Reverend Julian Ellerberg of St. Mark's Episcopal Church performs the marriage ceremony of Alec and Lily Boyd.

1958 - James Anderson is listed as the resident of 118 Henry Street in the city directory.  Alec Boyd is listed as the resident owner of 117 Henry Street in the city directory.

1962 - Rev. Houseal Norris is listed as the resident of 118 Henry Street in the city directory.

1970 - Michael Wilson is listed as the resident of 118 Henry Street in the city directory. On September 9, 1970, Michael Wilson sells 118 Henry Street to Julius B. and Thetis Hucks for approximately $7000.

1998? - Thetis Hucks dies of ????.

2001 - On September 28, Julius Hucks sells 118 Henry Street to Bill Wade for approximately $90,500.

2002 - In September. Bill Wade's grandson, DeShawn Robinson (Wade), comes to live at 118 Henry Street.

2004 - On October 30, Carole Jordan marries Bill Wade at Chester state park.

2005 - In August, Carole Jordan comes to live at 118 Henry Street with Bill Wade and his grandson.
