One foot in front of the other

Sometimes, when defying common sense and climbing a mountain, focusing on the goal or big picture is counterproductive. Sometimes, when the snow is hip deep and visibility is less than 10′, the best strategy is to face only the obstacle directly in front of you.
After working over 110 hours in the past week for my employer, this tactic is all I can muster to continue work on the kitchen annex. Specifically, sand all the wood trim no matter how long it takes before thinking about sanding the walls.

Baseboard, before and after sanding
In true Nanook of the North fashion, we trudged thru the wood trim, foot after foot, and got half of the walls done too.
Hopefully more joy during the holidays.
