Weekend Update

We were supposed to sand the floor in the kitchen annex last weekend but the weather was just too wet. This weekend was much better with temps in the 70’s and sunny skies.

The sanding went very quickly using a rented floor sander.

Sanding the floor really made the unique heart pine grain POP.

The first coat of oil based polyurethane is drying as we speak.

This afternoon, Carole, DeShawn, and I went to the local state park for a picnic. We spent a couple of hours enjoying the weather.
